The Science Play-Space Initiative (SPI) is an educationally based non-profit which supports the idea that play is integral to learning. It offers opportunities for families to playfully explore science and technology together. Visitors to the hands-on discovery space at Wright Center enjoy:
- Physics Flexhibits where they can experiment with flight, electromagnetism, circuits and bottle rockets
- The Enchanted Forest early childhood area
- The Imagine It! pretend play area with costumes, a tent, campfire and forest with real trees
- A tree-house climber
- A darkened room to play with light
- Blue Imagination Playground blocks
-- Reverse engineering and robotics for older visitors, and more!
