Fall Farm Event! (Sat. 14 Oct, 2017 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm)

Spend some time with us on the farm!  Stop by to see our barn full of animals, milk Elsie the cow, take horse drawn hayrides through the woods on Saturdays and tractor driven hayrides on Sundays! Pick that special pumpkin from our pumpkin patch, walk our woods trail and let the kids enjoy the playground activities! 

Fall Harvest Festival (Sat. 14 Oct, 2017 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm)

Don't miss this free event featuring a host of activities for the whole family.  Pumpkin decorating, horse-drawn hayrides, live music, a cider press, kid's games, a campfire with marshmallow roasting, and more!  The festival will take place at the Brown Family Environmental Center at 9781 Laymon Road.  For information call 740-427-5052.

Oktoberfest with Fred Ziwich (Sat. 14 Oct, 2017 7:30 pm)

Join us at Ariel-Foundation Park, a unique outdoor venue in central Ohio, for an Oktoberfest celebration with renowned polka star Fred Ziwich and his International Sound Machine. Hailing from Cleveland, Ziwich is the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award for the National Cleveland Style Polka Hall of Fame. Fred Ziwich is known as just about the most versatile musician ever on the Cleveland polka scene. He is a virtuoso on several instruments, a prolific recording artist,  and an expert music arranger. His band, the "International Sound Machine" has mastered, performed and recorded all of the major polka styles. Fred also plays a large repertoire of popular music. Gary and Christopher Byndas have performed with Fred for more than 20 years. Come enjoy some great music, dancing and traditional German beergarten.

Hagan's House of Horrors (Sat. 14 Oct, 2017 8:00 pm - Sun. 15 Oct, 2017 12:00 am)

Hagan's House of Horrors is a multi-themed haunted house attraction located within the village of Bladensburg, in the southeastern part of Knox County. The  haunt is recommended for ages 16 and up with parental discretion advised for younger children. It's open every Friday and Saturday night in October beginning at 8:00 PM (ticket window opens at 7:30). Free parking is available on the haunt site and nearby in this easily walkable country village. 

Most Saturday nights at the haunt involve charitable collections of food or other items or ticket proceeds givebacks to causes in the local community.
