The Lion King JR (Sat. 23 Sep, 2017 7:30 pm)

Disney's The Lion King has captivated the imagination of audiences around the world and now, for the first time ever, MTVarts has the opportunity to produce this one-of-a-kind musical for our community.

The African savannah comes to life on the stage of the Memorial with Simba, Rafiki and an unforgettable all-youth cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle... and back again, in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.

Presented through artsIQ, the production will be a culmination of 2 months of hard work by children ages 8-18.  Through the support of the KESC, two free performances will be offered to Kindergarten, First and Second grade students.

Public performances are slated for 7:30pm Friday, September 22, 2017; 7:30pm Saturday Sept 23, 2017; and 2 pm Sunday Sept 24.  Tickets are $15 and available at First Knox National Bank main office or by visiting www.MTVarts.com

Your support will help MTVarts EXPLORE, CREATE and SHARE the arts with the youth of our community. Educating tomorrow's performers and patrons, today!
