Pheasantview Family Farm LLC Fall Farm Event! (Sat. 15 Oct, 2016 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm)

Come join us for a relaxing day on the farm every Saturday and Sunday in October from 12p-5p! Stop by and enjoy time in the barn with all our animals from goats and cows to miniature donkeys and rabbits!

Walk through our woods and enjoy the fall colors or take a horse drawn hayride on Saturdays!

Give our milk cow a try, young or old everyone loves trying to get milk from Elsie!  Come hungry and have lunch in our Welcome Center after picking your perfect pumpkin from our pumpkin patch!

Fall Harvest Festival (Sat. 15 Oct, 2016 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm)

Celebrate the season with this FREE family event. Activities include wagon rides, live music, kids' harvest races, farm animals and produce, bonfire, cider press, pumpkin decorating with OSU Extension Master Gardeners, and the Knox County Nature Photography Contest Show.

Knox County Nature Photography Contest (Sat. 15 Oct, 2016 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm)

All community members are invited to enter our annual photo contest in celebration of our scenic Knox County. Jury prizes awarded in three divisions: children (ages 15 and below), adult, and student. 

The submission fee is $5 per entrant and the deadline is October 10. People's Choice voting will take place during our Fall Harvest Festival on Oct 15 from 2-4 pm. Contest rules at bfec.kenyon.edu or call 740-427-5050.

OBPC Present...The Fall Grand Ball (Sat. 15 Oct, 2016 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm)

The Fall Grand Ball will take place on Saturday, October 15th from 7:30-10:30pm in The Great Room of the MVDC located at 1250 Vernonview Drive, Mt. Vernon Oh.  (Administration Bldg. - top of the hill, first bldg. on the right)

Cost:  $15 per person

A light buffet is served all night - ticket price includes dance and buffet.  Contra Dance experience is not necessary.  All Contras are taught prior to the beginning of each dance (Jane Austen style dancing)  

Line and freestyle dancing to popular "clean" music begins at 9:30  NOTE: We are unable to take song request. 

Formal attire is required.   Clubbing style dresses or "goth" type clothing is not acceptable for this event. 

Please note all OBPC functions are family friendly events therefore no inappropriate dancing will be permitted

Hagan's House of Horrors (Sat. 15 Oct, 2016 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm)

A family owned and community operated multi-themed haunted house attraction. Recommended for ages 16 and up. Adult supervision is recommended for children under 16 who wish to go through the haunt. Limited time child care for children ages 5-12 and handicapped children of any age will be available for a small fee at the craft shack for children who do not wish to go through the haunt. 

Cost: $10.00 per person. Please see the website for more information, advance tickets and special offers including nights were some proceeds benefit local charities and organizations.
