Date: Wednesday, September 21, 2016 6:30 pm

The Academy award nominated film, "The 100-year-old Man who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared" (Rated R) will be featured at the Free Movie Night on Wednesday, September, 21, 6:30 p.m. at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, 201 N. Mulberry Street.

Based on the internationally best-selling novel by Jonas Jonasson, the film depicts an unlikely story of a 100-year-old man who decides it's not too late to start over. For most people it would be the adventure of a lifetime, but Allan Karlsson's unexpected journey is not his first. For a century he's made the world uncertain, and now he is on the loose again.

The book is our adult book discussion selection for September.  Free popcorn and refreshments. Children under 17 must be accompanied by adult guardian. For more information, call the main library at 740-392-BOOK (2665), visit or email [email protected].
